Whilst training in aerial arts and teaching Pilates, Debbie was trying to find a balance and understanding in both of her trainings. By combining aerial arts and Pilates together it brought a beautiful balance of requiring strength, awareness and alignment with the empowering and liberating affects aerial offers. Debbie started teaching Pilates using the hammock in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2013. At the heart of her motivation, is the desire to share with other Pilates teachers the empowering, creative use of the aerial hammock when combined with the powerful principles of the Pilates method. After much consideration, Debbie is proud to have been offering aerial Pilates teacher training for Pilates teachers since 2016.
